Vaughan Hospice

The construction of the Mario & Nick Cortellucci Hospice Palliative Care Centre of Excellence Year began in 2019, and was opened to the public in 2021. The healthcare facility and palliative care hub is the first of its kind in Vaughan. The building holds a 10-bed palliative care hospice and the Hospice Vaughan Institute of Hospice Palliative Care. The building was constructed using nail-laminated timber.
