The new terminal is an 836 m² structure that was built to accommodate the increased air traffic at an airport that functions as a hub for this northwestern corner of Ontario. Glulam is used extensively throughout the building, exposed to view in the 2-storey main aisle and in the exterior walkways, and hidden in the basement structure to support the significant 1st floor live and dead loads. Timmerman supplied 90 m³ of Glulam beams and columns for this project, as well as 400 m² of Tongue & Groove (T&G) Roof Deck.
