Evergreen Brickworks Children’s Garden Trellis

The Evergreen Brick Works Children’s Garden Trellis is a mass timber structure shaped to look like a feather, symbolizing lightness while still providing shelter and cooling. The structure was fabricated using Eastern Hemlock solid sawn, curved glue-laminated timber, and glue-laminated timber beams. Increasing the size of the amphitheatre and firepit where the trellis sits within the children’s garden invites a larger number of visitors to gather in the space, fostering community and a connection to nature.
