Project Summary
The Local 1669 Training Centre in Thunder Bay is a multi-purpose facility that houses administration, classrooms, and shop space for the Carpenters. Glulams were used in both the shop and office areas, and solid sawn materials were used for exterior elements. The result is a structure that highlights the materials and skills of the trade. Timmerman supplied and installed the mass timber elements, which included 50 m3 of Glulam and 20 m3 of solid sawn Timbers.
