Located in the heart of Liberty Village, Toronto, 80 Atlantic is an impressive project in both its scale and scope. As the first multi-story mass timber project approved in Toronto for over a hundred years, 80 Atlantic is both a revolutionary new build and the standard bearer for an exciting mass timber renaissance in the Ontario market. The 8000 m² commercial building was thoughtfully designed to integrate into the diverse cultural neighborhood and is now home to Universal Music. The project used 630 m³ of Glulam beams and columns & 6200 m² of nail-laminated-timber panels (NLTs). The south façade is completed enclosed with a high efficiency curtain wall, which provides glimpses of the mass timber structure during the day and showcases the warm glow of the exposed wood at night.
