The Muscowpetung Saulteaux Nation Powwow Arbour, just northeast of Regina in Saskatchewan, was built to act as a place to celebrate culture, strengthen traditions, and spread generational knowledge. The structure required circular geometry, necessary to balance the loads and symbolizing the importance of the circle in Indigenous culture. The structure features SilvaSpan nail-laminated timber panels, glue-laminated timber, Douglas fir and Black spruce tapered logs.
