Upper Canada College Lindsay Boathouse

Featured on a peninsula in Lake Ontario off the coast of Toronto, the new Upper Canada College Lindsay Boathouse is a beautiful 9,400-square-foot facility with view of the grandiose lakefront and Toronto skyline. Completed in 2023, the facility features boat storage bays, crew docks, a launch area, locker rooms, restrooms, and a flexible rowing training room. Careful consideration of the landscape during construction was required due to the site being located within a protected bay, and as such, a sustainable building was constructed using cross-laminated timber featuring expansive windows that allow for natural daylighting and green roofs.
